What’s going on in the world, it’s our fault

This is likely going to tick people off, (sorry, not sorry,) but we are a society of good people that are a little sick in the head. Really sick in some cases.

We have been programmed to be self-serving and fearful. This is due to things like debt, physical pain and ill-health because of the ridiculous amounts of toxins in everything, fear of death and disease, violence broadcasted on every station, long work hours, little vacation and exhaustion. All of these things, and more, have made us complacent–too drained to care for even our families sometimes, let alone “that strange loner kid.”

Troops come back from war-torn countries, have seen killing–blood and guts day after day, and what treatment do they come home to? What’s set up for them to help them heal from the emotional trauma?

Seedy Check-cashing places have more security than schools. Prisons have better food than our school and likely access to better education. Elderly get pushed to the wayside.

How many people live below the poverty line, and can’t afford more than Mountain Dew and Ichiban, then have no access to dental, (and healthcare in the US?)

The family unit, our natural support system, has been systematically broken down by all of these stressors and traumas. And then we have entertainment figures and nonsensical activists that encourage this even more. (I’m not getting into that now.)

We’re being drug around by the nose by rich politicians that treat our countries as mere businesses, usually forgoing what’s best for the people in order to turn a profit. Make no mistake, to them we are only consumers, slaves, money-makers, and cattle to herd. Our welfare is NOT their priority.

So if you ask me why there are mass shootings, I’ll reply with, giving what we have to endure everyday, why aren’t there more?

What’s going on in the world, it’s our fault. The responsibility lies with us. So stop allowing people to pass the buck and place blame elsewhere. That’s lazy thinking. It’s irresponsible. We need to take better care of our community, and stop getting distracted by bull$hit. Then, and only then, will everything else fall into place.
